Kim Delaney is an American actor who is most well-known for playing detective Diane Russell in ABCs series NYPD Blue for which she received the Emmy Award. Delaney was born as the only girl of her mother who was a homemaker and high-ranking executive of the United Auto Workers. Delaney was a child in the company of four brothers.
